it's just so good to me.

So I finished the first book on my Summer Reading List (This Lullaby; Sarah Dessen) already. I'm now still reading The Other Boleyn Girl. That book is SO FREAKING LONG but I love it.

I almost want to read the Twilight series. Again. But that would be a big hassle trying to get the books from the library (again) and it would be so much better if I OWNED the series. yeah.

I can't wait for the movie. YAY.

I learned how to read tab and now I can play Smoke on the Water on my guitar. =] The Mediacom guy tuned my guitar (for fucking free! i'm in love with that guy!) for me and now it's all good. YAY AGAIN.

er, this is short. gotta eat. LATER.

Making Arrangements

I don't know what that means, exactly. My dad left around two hours ago, and he left my mom a message saying he was "making arrangements." She said she didn't understand.

But I think I have an idea.

Divorce? I don't know what you have to do to get a divorce. I heard it's expensive, but I don't have experience (and hopefully I never will).

Onto a different subject;

SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE; WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

What's with all the sob stories tonight? Is it always like this?

I almost have to mute my TV, because I seriously hate Mary. She's a good person and all, but her face holds only one expression and her laugh KILLS MY SOUL. It makes my ears bleed.

Anyway, Michael (the first guy; hip-hop genre) was FUCKING BRILLIANT. I loved him. Then, the two girls (roommates, I believe) that were close after him were also really great.  I sort of got distracted during the middle of the show because Mary was murdering my sanity, so I don't have much more to say about it.

I can't wait to watch tomorrow's show. I love SYTYCD.

I just hate Mary.

My Summer Reading List

Dude, I never thought I would make one of these. That's just kind of weird. But, I've changed my mind about SRL's, and here is mine:

1.) This Lullaby - Sarah Dessen (in-progress; chapter 5)
2.) Someone Like You  - Sarah Dessen
3.) Keeping the Moon -  Sarah Dessen
4.) Dreamland - Sarah Dessen
5). Go Ask Alice by Anonymous
6.) Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West by Gregory Maguire
7.) A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
8.) Rebel Angels by Libba Bray
9.) The Sweet Far Thing by Libba Bray (alright, I might not ever get to read the trilogy, I admit. I always thought that AGTB [ha, i abbreviate EVERYTHING!] was this huge book that wasn't suited for teenagers. BUT I AM HERE TO BREAK BOUNDARIES, SON!)
10.) The Other Boleyn Girl by Philippa Gregory (in-progress, almost half-way finished)

Only ten books, including a trilogy.

I'm obsessed with old England. Like the 14th Century with King Henry and all that stuff. LOVE IT.

EDIT:
additional-i-have-to-put-this-in-here book:

11.) BREAKING DAWN - STEPHENIE MEYER.
HOLY SHIT I'M SO EXCITED!

May 31st, 2008

My dad just pulled in the driveway.

And it's about damn time - I've been home for like twenty minutes, by myself, waiting in the dark and stormy night (even though I have all the lights on in the house) for someone to come home.

I mean, I just got home from watching "The Strangers", which is terrifying. Pointless, but scary.

And it's about to storm, and that scares me even more.

My mom is who-knows-where and I have no idea where my dad was, but oh well. I'd rather not know. They can do whatever they want, they're just lucky that I understand and I don't ask questions. But that's only because, I know. I'M NOT NAIVE, PEOPLE!

I've attempted to tune my guitar, and I did a pretty good job, I think. But I tried looking up the tablature for "Thunder" by Boys Like Girls (which is like a total of four chords), and it's so hard!

So now, here is my list, full of devotion and love I give to my guitar:

WHAT I AM GIVING UP FOR YOU (A LIST, TO MY GUITAR):
- long fingernails.

- my patience.

- quite possibly, my sanity.

- a lot of my time.

- a lot of my FREE time.

- space.

- money!

- a place in my heart.

Also, it's about time I name my guitar. suggestions?

Writer's Block: Nicknames

What's your nickname, and how did you get it?

My nickname is "MaFi", which is like Mafia without the A. I got it from my best friend, because when we play Grand Theft Auto, I'm obsessed with driving the ultra-cool MAFIA cars. I literally kill on that game for those cars! haha.

What commercial do you love the most? Which do you hate?

Love the Starbucks commercial! "GLEN, GLEN, GLEN, GLEN, GLEN, GLEN, GLENNNN"

I hate all cheap locally-owned car commercials. They annoy the hell outta me!

If you could go back and fix your most regrettable decision, what would it be, and what would you do differently?

Or:

Pirates or Ninjas?

 PIRATES. THERE IS NOTHING BETTER.

Ha, the funny thing is, in my small redneck filled town, we're split: pirates, ninjas.

But pirates are better.
Tonight is the night of the FIRST STORM OF SUMMER!

Let me say this: I don't hate storms, exactly. I hate TORNADOES that come WITH the storms. So, sometimes when storms happen, I get a little anxious/scared/nervous/spazzy.

It's totally normal for me.

Plus, I can hear thunder. It's freaking me out a littlebit, but I'm going to be okay. I hope.

Today I went to town and got me my guitar tuner, picks, and a stand. All for like, thirty dollars. Of MY money, by the way.

When we got to Samuel's I felt out of my element. I mean, everyone was so ARTSY and PROFESSIONAL and MUSICAL. I felt like an amateur (which I am, but so what?).  Me and my dad were kind of just wandering aimlessly around, looking for what we needed. I got a tuner just like my brother-in-law's (well, my sister's fiance), and pretty blue guitar picks. The stand is black and it was only eight dollars, which is an awesome deal.

I tried tuning my guitar, but I didn't have all that much luck. I had almost every string tuned, except for the bottom E. I got so frustrated that I quit. That's a job for tomorrow, thank you.

I got a new Seventeen magazine from Walmart. I'm excited to read it, but I'm too anxious because of the storm. ECK.

I get weather updates on my phone by text, and they always tell me when we have warnings or watches for storms or tornadoes. And right now we're under a severe thunderstorm warning and a tornado watch until like midnight. Again, ECK.

Mmm, I'm watching CSI. I loves that show.

Well, I'm going to attempt to read. Latah.

 UGH.

You know how happy I was, like an hour ago? Because my laptop was SUPPOSED to be in today?!

Yeah. Me too.

And it's NOT EVEN IN YET! I probably won't get it until like, Monday, because it's Friday, and they usually don't ship stuff on the weekends. Damnit. Now I'm pissed!

I'm still going to Samuel's music to get a tuner & guitar picks for my beautiful new guitar. I need to go to Walmart, too, but first I need to convince my dad to let me go...

I'm almost definitely sure that I'm going to the movies this weekend, sometime. It was going to be tonight, then, Saturday night, and now it's Sunday afternoon.

I really hate making plans because they always get changed or cancelled and then I get disappointed.

Okay, and on a complete and random note: here is the link to my fanfiction.net page, if you're interested in seeing my work. Twilight, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom. all that good stuff.

leave reviews, because they make me happy.

CLEAN SWEEP

Add to Memories Tell a Friend

I should be getting a shower, vaccuuming, taking the trash out. But instead, I'm deleting everything off this stupid temporary laptop (but not before saving it somewhere else!) because I'm getting my new today!

And I'm excited because my new one is smaller, prettier, and better. I can't WAIT to use it. So I put all my icons and pics on Photobucket and deleted all my documents. I don't like to do it, but oh well. It has to be done. After I'm done posting an entry...I have to delete all history from the Internet, and I'll be done.

It's like cleaning. But easier, and faster.

I like laptops way better than other computers. Other computers (like the one in my kitchen) piss me off.

So, when I get my new laptop, I'm going to upload Limewire and iTunes and get all these pictures and icons and stuff. The guy says there's tons of memory. He said he doesn't know what I'll use all that memory for, and I said music and pictures, duh!

But of course, it's not like he's a mind reader. Oh well.

At least, my new laptop BETTER FREAKING BE IN TODAY! It wasn't in yesterday, the day before, or the day before that. But today feels lucky. Plus, the guy promised me.

Either way, I need to buy a tuner and guitar picks. I can't even play my guitar because it's not tuned. It frustrates me! I've been playing the beginning of "Simple Man" over and over and over and over again. It's even driving me crazy!

Well, I need a shower. LATER.
